Did you know over 60% of our body is made up of water?
Water is needed for a variety of functions, including waste removal, nutrient transmission, and as a means to move oxygen around the body.
Food intake contributes about 20% of our fluid intake, which means we need to drink about 8-10 glasses per day to make up for the rest of what we need.
If you don’t like the taste of water, try adding fresh fruits or herbs to give a little flavour.
If you prefer carbonated drinks, try sparkling water!
